An interesting quote....

Eda Leshan, 72, a noted family counselor and popular author, writes: "After a long and successful life, I am disintegrating. One heart attack, two strokes, four operations and I'm a walking wreck...Feeling well and being intensely active is the good fortune of many older people. But those of us who've not been so blessed crave the pleasure and reassurance that comes with being valued for what we are still able to do."

She lives "above and beyond what's wrong with me...When I finish writing a book or an article, when I can still give good advice to parents, I am still the person I have always been. I feel better when I make the effort to keep going."
